The ‘skinny pole cover’ is officially approved by Tom Arnold.
Just a brief update on something you may already know. Oddworld Inhabitants are getting back into publishing one toe at a time. The Oddbox was released on Steam last fall, including all 4 Oddworld titles, including Stranger’s Wrath which had previously only been on Xbox. A Playstation 3 HD version of Stranger’s Wrath is set to hit PSN in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully this is a sign that we’ll someday see the Oddworld game that never was, The Brutal Ballad of Fangus Klot (google it and cry that it never came).
This is one of those stories I’ve had dreams about posting and then woke up and felt sinking loss when I realized it wasn’t real. Not much could make me happier than to hear that Lorne Lanning has decided to put his well deserved grudge against the industry in the past and get back to doing what he was meant to: making games. Once again we have the future thinking and fiscally unstoppable folks over at Valve to thank for bringing another disgruntled studio back into the light of day.
